2012年1月17日 · I have an adams arms 16 inch mid-length upper on a dpms lower: I have always used it as a carbine and trained with it as such, practicing close range tactics and shooting positions. I practice shooting and moving, and shooting strongside/weakside. While all of this is well and good, I have no use for a battle rifle.

Basically the conclusion is that the SPR was a product of its time, but with proper ammo selection and modern components, a URGI or similar 16 inch design with a high quality barrel and glass is more than equivalent of the capabilities of the Mk12.
