Champlain's 1607 Map of New England - Old Maps
This remarkably detailed map shows the New England (and northeast) coastline from Cape Cod to Nova Scotia. It was based on Samuel de Champlains explorations in 1605-1607. Some features are hard to match with their true shapes (note Cape Cod at the lower left), but for its time this was a very accurate map.
