The 161st Air Refueling Wing (161 ARW) is a unit of the Arizona Air National Guard, stationed at Goldwater Air National Guard Base, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona. If activated to federal service, the Wing is gained by the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command.

In a ceremony presided over by Col. Gary Brewer, 161st Air Refueling Wing commander, Col. Joseph Wilson assumed command of the 161st Maintenance Group. Colonel Wilson previously served as Air National Guard Advisor to the commander, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.

The 161st Air Refueling Wing’s federal mission is to organize, train and equip units and individuals to meet worldwide requirements in support of the Air Force’s Global Reach mission.
