Does DisplayPort support 2560x1440 @ 165 Hz? : r/Monitors
2022年7月25日 · Great resource, thanks. According to the table at your link DP 1.2 supports up to 165 Hz. Actually, I think that piece of information is only partially correct. I just found my answer on Wikipedia - DisplayPort - Refresh frequency limits for standard video. Basically, DP 1.2 supports 2560x1440 @ 165 Hz at a colour depth of 8 bit.
Does 165hz make a big difference to 144hz? Can't decide on new …
60 Hz = 16.66ms/frame 75 Hz = 15 ms/frame 144 Hz = 6.94 ms/frame 165 Hz = 6.06 ms/frame 240 Hz = 4.16 ms/frame So the difference between 60 and 75hz (1.66 ms) is actually bigger than the difference you'll get going from 144hz to 165 (0.88 ms). Similarly the jump from 60 to 144 (9.72) is far bigger than 144 to 240 (2.74).

AW3423DWF Appears to Support 10-bit RGB @ 165 Hz.
2022年12月1日 · In Nvidia control panel, I simply created a custom resolution, selected CVT-RB, set the refresh rate to 165 Hz and used the automatically generated timings. This admittedly was a shot in the dark after seeing the posts about 10-bit with custom timings. Windows graphics options is showing 10-bit.
AW3423DWF: I successfully managed 10-bit at 165Hz! Here are
2023年2月7日 · To add to this in case anyone else runs into the same issue. I kept getting 6-bit in Windows, since I'd made a custom resolution in AMD Adrenalin. Deleting that custom resolution, and then following the above guide gave improved results: 165 Hz with 8-bit dithering. Still haven't managed to achieve 10-bit.
What should I cap the FPS at on a 165Hz G-Sync Monitor?
2023年2月27日 · I have a laptop with a 165 Hz G-Sync display. Most of the games I play cannot run at 165 Hz, so I use Rivatuner to cap the FPS at a lower value and get consistent frametimes. Should I cap the FPS at a value that's exactly half or a third of 165? For example, 55 is exactly 1/3 of 165. Should I cap the FPS at 55 or 60 or does it not matter?
165hz monitor only running at 144hz : r/Monitors - Reddit
2021年4月12日 · Many 165 Hz monitors can only run at 165 Hz in some sort of stupid marketing overclocking mode. Maybe that's one of those, although I don't really know. I'd just ignore that because 144-vs-165 isn't going to be noticeable anyway.

60 fps on my 165hz monitor is extremely choppy with vsync
2021年12月27日 · Wrong. 60hz refresh rate will ALWAYS have 16.66ms response time. Every single hz of that refresh rate takes 16.66ms. It never changes. INPUT LAG can change, but refresh rate lag cannot. 60hz is ALWAYS 16.66ms. 120hz is always 8.33ms. 240hz is ALWAYS 4.16ms. That never changes.
