2024年8月11日 · 13ft Skiffs & 16ft Skiffs are two of the most popular boats sailed in Australia with fleets in NSW and Queensland. There are currently over 95 boats registered through 9 clubs and regattas regularly attract fleets of up to 45 boats. Most 16ft skiff sailing clubs have excellent facilities and actively support sailing in other smaller dinghy classes.

A design by former skiff sailor, Craig Hughes, was accepted as being the most progressive and suitable to take the Class forward. The design rules also fixed the number of masts and sails which could be registered for the Australian Championship Series.

A 16 ft Skiff is a class of three-person sailing dinghy with twin trapezes and a large asymmetrical spinnaker. The class is unique to Australia, where it is one of the most popular boats sailing with 75 boats registered in 7 clubs. The class has the largest fleet of high performance skiffs on the east coast of Australia.

2024年10月28日 · 2021 16 ft MICRO-Poling Skiff V hull aluminum Xtreme - Powered by a 2021 Yamaha F25 with ~70 hours. Converted the boat to a True Poling skiff. New Poling Tower, cleaned off fore & aft decks. This boat poles great , one guy/gear 5" with two anglers loaded 7", very stable, rides well in chop, and is surprisingly dry. Hull watertight.
