Honest Review of 17C Mos I experience : r/army - Reddit
2021年11月24日 · When I enlisted to join as a 17C it was insanely difficult to find any information on the MOS at all. The only thing my recruiter told me was that they all leave after their first contract because a combination of 6 years in cyber and a TSSCI made it incredibly easy to find a job as a contractor outside of the Army making much more money.
MOS Megathread Series -- CMF 17 -- Cyber Branch - Reddit
I've looked in Army regulations, DoD regulations and I came across the Housing Flexibility Act and even dug into 37 USC 403: Basic allowance for housing. Both have excerpts in them stating retention of the BAH rate for the old/losing installation is possible, especially for circumstances such as the 17C MOS training curriculum.

17C MOS Curriculum and MOS-T AIT : r/army - Reddit
2023年2月10日 · What is the AIT like for MOS-T for 17C? What does the curriculum consist of? I do not have a cybersecurity background. I'm working on getting my bachelors degree in computer science and should be finished by late 2024 to early 2025. If I am successful re-classing to 17C, I'd like to complete my degree before going to AIT.
Was reclassing to 17C worth it? : r/army - Reddit
FYSA, reclassing to 17C doesn’t guarantee you will end up doing Red Team / Offensive Cyber Operations. Very few 17C do and most are hand picked & groomed for those ops. You can also force your way in if you know what to do. But it’s still a great MOS overall. Sadly most 17C do a lot of 25D type duties though rather than offensive stuff.
17C: What are the risks of Reclassing to it? - RallyPoint
2020年8月3日 · And the risk is the fact that you’d keep your current MOS that you do not like. I’m currently a 92A, do not care for my job either, so I re enlisted to get a new MOS. To me, it’s worth the risk of possible failure. However, if a lot of joes can get through the MOS training with zero Army/Job experience, I like my chances. SGT (Join to see)

17C Re-Class need advice. : r/army - Reddit
2023年5月1日 · Pretty sure you don't need any certs if you're reclassing for reenlistment. I could be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure you would only need them if you submitted for the packet mos transfer. I didn't need certs when I did a conditional release. 17C is also designed to take people right off the street and put them in cyber.
Possible First Duty Stations / Assignments by MOS : r/army - Reddit
2017年3月28日 · Actually I just looked it up on FMSWeb, they are actually coded to specific MOS's. So yes Drill Sergeant is MOS immaterial but it's not coded that way. Anything outside of nominative positions won't be MOS immaterial since just due to the way requisitions for the enlisted side go. There's no 01A or 02A equivalent for enlisted.
17C vs 25D: what's the differences, pros and cons? - RallyPoint
2015年7月14日 · 17C Critical Task List is more closely aligned with that of a 35Q than a 25D, but combining the skills into a single MOS provides the flexibility to legally "change hats" without having to switch seats for off/def operations.
