The Weapons School consists of 21 Weapons Squadrons (WPS) and eight Advanced Instructor Courses (AIC) at nine locations across the country.
USAF Weapons School - Nellis Air Force Base
An F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet assigned to the 17th Weapons Squadron (WPS) taxis on the flight line at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Dec. 19, 2019. The 17th WPS participated in a rapid crew swap exercise where air crews, maintenance and fuels trained to launch and recover jets in one-third the normal time increasing flying time for pilots.
