Dec 7, 2017 · Thing I learned today: the official method of rolling 1d2 is to roll any dice, with an odd number counting as 1 and an even number counting as 2. Rolling any dice and counting any number below half as 1 and any above as 2 is presented as an alternative. I've also been at a table where a guy flipped coins. I usually use the low-high method.

Jun 10, 2010 · Build a crusader, using a weapon that deals 1d2 damage. Use the Stance Aura of Chaos, and a feat that lets you reroll 1s. You now deal infinite damage (you only roll 2s, and each 2 causes you to reroll).

Jul 7, 2004 · For 1d2 you can just grab the closest die; odd is 1 and even is 2. Or the first half (1-5 on a d10, for example) is 1 and the second is 2...whichever is more intuitive for you. That said I notice most players avoid anything that does less than 1d4 (such as a dagger) unless the weapon has special advantages.

Nov 25, 2009 · Take the 1d2 crusader. Instead of using a 1d2 weapon, which doesn't really work if the rules are read "right", use a 1d1 weapon. A blowgun from complete warrior has a 1d3 damage die. But, make it tiny, and it deals 1d1 damage. Now, the die itself will roll maximum damage every time. Therefore, Infinite damage! Does it work? Or am I just dreaming?

Dec 19, 2002 · Its damage will now be 1d2-2 (still a minimum of 1). If, OTOH, it gets a super-strong double-Empowered bull's strength, for a +10 Strength bonus, then its damage would rise to 1d2+1, which is a 2-3 hp damage range.

Feb 13, 2002 · For example, the listed damage of tiny skeletions is "1d2-2" and under small skeletion it is "1d3-1". Now I have not seen a "d2" nor a "d3" so how is this supposed to be done? Obviously im missing something here, please point it out.
