2011年9月27日 · It's just a 1JZ, basically. Headflow will not really make a difference in power, just how much boost it will take to hit the same amount. You can use a 1J timing belt, etc. Aaron at Driftmotion used a 2JZ-GTE head on his 1JZ block, made 700+rwhp. You can make however much power your turbo and setup is tuned for.

2013年6月26日 · Since a setup that would bolt onto a fully stock 1JZ-GTE takes into consideration the block is a 1JZ-GTE block, you cannot assume that it would fit on a 2JZ-GTE block. The reason for this is because the 2JZ-GTE block is an 1/2" taller, so that means the 1JZ-GTE head will sit a 1/2" higher, meaning the turbo setup will sit 1/2" higher as well.

2007年4月16日 · I have already stated that the 1JZ block can handle a shit load of power on stock block, and I know this cause I have done it for a friend of mine. How can a piston fail? Lots of reasons, detonation, timing, air/fuel ratio mixed ups for starters. If your question would have been, "Can the 1JZ block take what the 2JZ block take?"

2012年1月7日 · Both 1JZ and 2JZ HG's have the same oil holes and the sizes look virtually identical The back left small oil hole is the same and lines up even though the 1JZ one has a bit more meat to lay over the oval on the head/block. The 2JZ one still has over 4-5 MM's of playroom from the oil hole.

2003年12月21日 · MKII manual trannies require the same. Tranny linked to a 1jz bell housing with either a 1jz-GTE 5 speed flywheel or a custom 5mGE flywheel with the 2jz bolt pattern drilled into it. MKIII and MKII Autos will require the 1jz-GTE or 2jz-GTE auto bell housing, TC, and flywheel.
