Like the turbo, it was a 24-valve DOHC 6-cylinder engine but featured a distributorless ignition system . The 1G-GZE was mated only with automatic gearboxes.

2004年3月28日 · The 1G-GTE has got 210 out of the box, compared to the 7MGE's 175, It accelerates like a demon and it's got a much smoother power curve than the GE and GTE. And it's got a stock MHG! Coming from someone who has ridden in and driven a JDM Soarer, I can say that the 1G is nothing to sneeze at.
