2023年4月6日 · No Crank, No Start. The first and most common scenario is the 2015 Kia Optima with no crank and no start. It can happen due to one of the reasons below. Faulty Battery. When you see your Kia Optima does not start, the first suspected culprit is a problem with the battery.

If you have power at the starter on start with key, (power to the solenoid wire) the range and ignition switch will be okay. Make sure that the solenoid wire at the starter is not loose and the terminal is not corroded and the terminal is secured firmly to the wire. It sounds like a high resistance problem in the starter circuit.

2018年1月26日 · Turn the switch and nothing but a relay under the dash. All the dash lights go out. Fuses and relays good. Cleaned battery terminals and grounds today and still nothing. What got it cranked was holding the key in the crank position for about 3+ seconds and it finally cranked strong and fired right up.

Swapped with a different battery and still no crank. So, I check the fuses and relays. Starter relay clicks when power applied, and when shorting the relay, the car turns on.
