2007年1月6日 · A google search provided the chemistry of 20CrMnTi. This chemistry indicates no Mo and the presence of Ti may be more as tramp. Normally there have bben attempts to replace Ni by Cu,hence the nearly 1% Cu presence. It is advisable to specify 4320 or 8620 alloy.Most of the Chinese companies seem to be popularising 20CrMnTi.

2009年1月25日 · I have been proposed to use Chinese 20CrMnTi for a gear application. We have been using European material 34CrNiMo6 for a long time with good experience. The gears run only short times, but can be heavily overloaded due to the rough application. By changing material we expose ourselves to the danger that the new material is not durable enough.

2009年11月6日 · The answer to your question is a qualified yes. 20CrMnTi does not have a lot of alloying, and therefore will not produce a deep case or great core toughness. Alloys with Cr & Ni, like 8620 and 4120, and Cr-Ni-Mo alloys like 4320 will definitely have better core toughness, and better hardenability as well.

2014年3月27日 · Both of these grades are used primarily in China. You can compare DI results and Jominy traverses to get an idea of core hardness properties. The hardenability of the 20Cr2Ni4 will be higher than 8620, the 20CrMnTi similar to 8620. Your customer should also be willing to pay additional for the increased Nickel content of 20Cr2Ni4 compared to 8620.

2011年6月14日 · By Chinese standard GB3077, there are 20CrMnTi with chemistry as TVP noted, and 20CrMo which has 0.2%c, 0.4~0.7%Mn, 0.8~1.1%Cr, and 0.15~0.25%Mo, more like SAE 4120. Not sure if it is a typo of 20CrMnTi or a variant of 20CrMo because the designation of 20CrMoTi is quite common on alibaba.
