The American-180 is a submachine gun developed in the 1960s which fires the .22 Long Rifle or .22 ILARCO cartridges from a pan magazine. The concept began with the Casull Model 290 that used a flat pan magazine similar to designs widely used prior to World War II .

With 177 rounds, the drum magazine accommodates the widely available and popular .22 LR ammunition. These versatile rifles offer both semi-automatic and Full-automatic firing capabilities, the latter initiated from an open bolt.

This is the American-180 full auto machinegun in 22LR caliber. Features a nice black metal finish with a few light scratches, brown synthetic stock with some nicks and dings, overall Very Good condition. Includes an original 177rd steel drum and the winder, a carry case, and a photocopy of the manual. Fully transferable.
