2002年4月2日 · The 268H specs at 218 @.050 lift both intake and exhaust. The XE268 specs at 224/230 @.050 lift intake and exhaust respectively. I don't think you will be able to get the XE268 to idle reliably below about 800-1000 rpm especially in drive. You may need a looser torque converter (higher stall speed) to help it out a little.

2008年4月21日 · Good street performance with stock converter, choppy idle. The CC 260HE will be a better match due to your low CR. I don't have any experience with the 260H that PDQ recommended but my college roommate had an identical 350 with a 268H in his '79 Z28. A lot of fun with a 4 speed & 3.73's until he spun around & hit a pole backwards :sad:
