Both 2B and 9S physical age (manufacturing date) is roughly the same. Appearance wise they look different mostly because of 2B's uniform, as well as her multiple blindfolds, which make her look older. 9S was made to look somewhere between a brother and farther Nier age-wise. So it puts them into 15-20 category.

I pictured the Pearl Harbor descent as having happened DECADES, maybe even a century or two the way Anemone and A2 act, and 2B/9S as doing their thing for a few years. More than 3. 2019年11月19日 · It seems to me that 9s' naivety is more of a comment on that aspect of human nature rather than the age he was supposed to seem like. Regarding 9s and 2b's relationship, I do think there are romantic elements. But their bond also seems to transcend carnal, romantic, and familiar relationships in a way.

2021年6月11日 · Underage women in Japan is a trope (probably because the age of consent is 13, yikes!), but obviously they changed the age to avoid any international backlash. As for 2B and 9S, that's a tricky one without spoiling. Just remember, they're androids, they don't exaclty age even though 9S gives off the age of 16/17.
