2021年1月1日 · An easy way to find out if the low voltage is because of excessive screen current (the implied cause of the low 70 volts) would be to measure the drop across the screen resistor (after first checking that resistor's value). I'd hate to think that poor 2E26 is drawing that much current! I'd sooner suspect suspect another cause.

2021年1月1日 · At first I thought he just switched the tubes on accident in the title. People will put a 2e26 where a 6146 belongs in order to drop the power out, such as in a Ranger so the carrier is down to a level more appropriate to drive a linear. To …

Tube of the month - 2E24 - amfone.net
The directly heated 2E24 is a somewhat neglected gem, perhaps due to its directly heated cathode. It uses a center tapped filament rated [email protected]. It has a 10W CCS, 13.5W ICAS plate dissipation. The filament heating time is specified as <2 seconds. It seems to be the quick-heating version of the more popular indirectly heated 2E26.

Substituting 6146B for 2E26 in Gonset Communicator << < (2/3) > >> w5omr: Even if one were going to drop the output power on a Ranger to something, as John said, more manageable to drive an amp, the better way would be to drop the screen voltage on the 6146, itself.
