If you want to increase it, you definately will need to upgrade your stock bov . . . it will bleed off boost set any higher than 11-13 psi. A stock 1G bov is good for 17-18 psi.I think - or you`re gonna have to go with an aftermarket bov.(HKS,Blitz,Greddy,etc.)
