4K televisions have been out for years and are quickly becoming the standard, even with low range brands. So why hasn’t the filmmaking community embraced it as the new standard?

Feb 19, 2023 · If you think 2k is VHS quality in relation to 4k I'd recommend actually looking at VHS tapes. They're low res, washed out, and telecined to a non native frame rate just to play back on a CRT. 2k vs 4k can have the entirely same color profile but just have different resolutions.

It's been a little over a month since the website Movies2k went down, and i don't know any other trusted wesites to watch movies.
