2019年12月7日 · Today i got a oil pressure tester and these are my results. 1 -At the oil filter i got 12PSI steady at idle. at about 3k RPM it read 55 PSI. 2-at the OCVL oil pressure port it read "0" PSI (zero). im assuming this is why im not engaging Lift. I have learned that when the engine is cold, lift will not engage and will not allow you to go past 7k.

Okay, to control VVTL-i and vvt-i, we must tap into the OCV valve, and manually engage it. It works through the sensors, but appears like it can manually be controlled, just like a VTEC solenoid.

2011年3月15日 · Sounds like lifters may be tapping the cams. Without going so far to remove the valvecover to take a peek - could try removing the two OCV filters and see if they are gummed up with deposits. If those filters are event partially plugged up - could explain that metallic tapping/ticking noise.

2021年3月6日 · Recently changed the lift bolts and lift OCV in my 2004 2ZZ, piccys might be of interest. Straight forward jobs, well worth doing yourself as some preventative maintenance. Locked post.
