ASU requires all students, employees and qualifying university affiliates to obtain an official ASU ID. Except for eligible new employees, the ASU ID is issued for a fee of $25. Online students must have an approved photo on file with Sun Devil Card Services.

Your ASU ID number is printed on your Certificate of Admission, on many of your student records, on your Sun Card and on selected communications you receive from the university, etc. In addition to your name, your ASU ID number serves as the primary student identifier in ASU computer systems and on your student records.

Your ASU Mobile ID includes your ASU ID number, campus classification, legal name and preferred name. The ASU Mobile App also provides transactional history and account balance to help card users manage their meal plan or Maroon and Gold account.

Students and employees may choose between the Pitchfork ID, complete with Sun Devil Checking exclusively from MidFirst Bank, or the basic Sun Card to use as their official university ID card.
