I also found 50 RP cases at gunshow that measured the same (I take a mike to gunshows) I have talked to a few shooters that tell me that current RP and WW Krag brass is .451 to .452 just like the .303 brass made by the same companies.

I use a candle and "smoke" the neck then slowly adjust the deprimer die 'till it JUST touches and marks the carbon and that is where I lock in the "travel" of the die. Sorting thru some of my .303 brass and found some stamped WCC 81. Just wondering why Winchester/Olin might have been making .303 ammo at such a late date. A contract to some third world place still using Enfields??

2025年2月8日 · The problem with '303 case-head separations may not all be down to rim thickness. .303 headspaces on the RIM, not the case shoulder , like sensible rimless cartridges.. Your "surp-mil .303 rifle has had its chamber "refreshed, (to clean up roughness , the brass at the front end will expand more than usual.

2020年12月23日 · HXP ammunition in either .303 British or cal .30 M2 ball is first rate ammunition of exceptional quality. Non-corrosive, Boxer primed and excellent brass for reloading, surplus ammo doesn't get any better.

2010年9月6日 · You should segregate brass by MAKER, also, there being fairly great variance in some of those. The single most consistent brass for the .303 which I have ever encountered is the Canadian -made WW2 stuff made by Defence Industries.
