2016年3月6日 · This is the 338 Lapua, improved with a 37-degree shoulder. With a 28" Bartlein barrel, I expect ~2975fps with 300gr bullets. Maybe 3000 with nitrided barrel and HBN coated bullets.

So far I've shot about 80 rounds through it to fireform brass, but have had pretty good results in the accuracy dept with very little load development. shooting around 2900-2950 with 300gr bergers(lighter load so i can shoot the bergers), over 869 and retumbo.

2014年7月13日 · I just got my .338 Lapua less than two months ago and still going through load development. I have just over 16 pounds of Retumbo so that is where I started. 285 Hornady over Retumbo inside of Lapua sparked by 215M.

2016年3月6日 · On the 4th of July I fired the first nine shots thru the 338 Rogue, after mounting a 3-15x42mm Vortex Razor HD LH scope. Here's a picture of the first group, and a spreadsheet containing the loads that delivered this group at a distance of 280 yds.

2016年3月6日 · The 338 Lapua case can only be blown out so far, to a minimum body taper that still allows for reliable extraction of fired cases from the rifle chamber. I could have pushed that to the very maximum and gained a bit more internal case volume.
