The pipeline starts after getting approved for the MOS by the board comprised of the MOS’s 3 MGySgts and OccField Sponsor OIC. It’s a two-year (minimum) process where you go work at an RCO as a Contract Specialist to get the necessary experience to deploy as a warranted Contracting Officer.

2020年10月27日 · Ive been out since 2009. It looks like the MOS I mentioned is only for 5 and above but looks like it pulls from the 3000 series MOS pool though. Both Finance and Contract Specialist career fields are highly desirable for after you get out and want to come back working for the Government.

I’m a 3451 currently on the MSG program. Been out of the MOS about 2 years but what I can say is that it’s a lot of staring at a computer and solving financial issues for the Marine Corps. If you have any questions let me know.

2023年5月19日 · Aside from maybe cyber, there are few or no enlisted MOS's that directly lead to the potential to make $200k or more, and I'm not even sure if cyber has that potential. 2020年8月10日 · I'm a 3451, 'Financial Managemen Resource Analyst' - Accountant, and yeah, we're pretty fucking POG. It's like any other POG MOS, you have opportunities to get outside and play if you look for them. Money is needed everywhere, so deployments are a thing for us, too.
Why did you choose your MOS? : r/USMC - Reddit
Under that there was a bunch of different MOS’s in the fine print. So green weenie chose for me to be 1171, water dog. I hated it and cross trained with the generator mechs. I ended up deploying as one but the MC didn’t see that my apprentice hours were legit so they wouldn’t sign off as a full fledged multiple MOS Marine.
