2014年2月16日 · Picked up an old Sno-Jet with the 200R, 372 Hirth with HD carb, with intentions on making an oval tracker out of it. With some porting & decent exhaust should be able to spin up some decent hp, I'm thinkin. Anybody here do any hot-rodding on this motor? Are there parts still available like pistons, main bearings ect?

2012年10月6日 · the 372 uses 4 short studs and nuts at the base of the cylinder - 8 head bolts separate 338 uses 4 studs all the way through the cylinder and 4 extra little bolts to hold the head

2013年12月28日 · Seems to me from what I have heard, the 372/396 JLO was the one to beat before 70. By 70 I think the Hirth and Sachs engines from 290 to the 340 size were taking over the game with their better porting and exhaust features. Cooling and other features were getting better by then also.
