2023年3月23日 · The old R4 card worked as well but it had 4gb limit. Its similar to the middle one you have. I have custom firmware in my 3ds but its cool to have an R4 as well yo take advantage of the ds/3ds slot and save more space to your sd of the 3ds. I didn't see any difference in the performance anyway.

2023年4月7日 · R4s are good for ds games and maybe emulate gb/gbc games. They can't play 3ds titles and gba emulation isn't very good on r4. 3ds cfw allows use of homebrew apps for various things like save backups, save editing, game cartridge backups, and many other uses.

2022年5月14日 · The only "official" r4 card is the original. All others are different cards made by different companies only using the r4 name to make sales. The "best" card you can buy is the Supercard DSTwo Plus. It works on all ds, dsi, and 3ds models, has extra processors for better emulation, and can even play 3ds games.

The R4i 3ds Gold+ card is the way to go and it will help hack your 3ds w/o "Powerful Computer." If you live within the United States I recommend ordering from modchipsdirect but if not go nds-card which ships from China. Both are very respectable sites.

2021年9月28日 · Hello, I have a 3DS and a 3DS XL, both running the latest update. I have been trying to find out which R4 card I need for this, but find lots of conflicting information online. I don't fully understand what timebomb means in this context. I am looking for a R4 card that will run 3DS roms, for forever, no time bomb. I will buy 2, one for each 3DS.

2021年3月14日 · The 208-in-1 may look sketchy, but it's actually a 1:1 clone of the Ace3DS+ running Wood on that cartridge. It's the best DS flashcart available (since the R4i Gold 3DS Plus has been discontinued), and the Wood kernel has the best game compatibility compared to YSMenu, AKAIO etc. Replace the microSD card included with your own, reinstall the Wood kernel and you're good to go.

2023年3月7日 · I think the R4i+ 3DS/DS RTS is still the best option as most other cards have "time bombs" in them which essentially brick the card after a certain amount of time (for example, 5 years) but the R4i+ 3DS/DS RTS has none. I hope that helped. (BTW can you send me the link to where you bought the R4i+ 3DS/DS RTS because i m thinking of buying it too.)

2014年5月4日 · You can use the r4 3DS but it will play just DS games and DSi games as well as emulator for classic systems like NES, Super NES, GB, GBC, GBA, Neo Geo, etc. For actual 3DS games, a card like the Sky3DS Plus card would be what you'd want.
