You can navigate the directory tree and open/browse folders as you would expect. Additionally, folders containing a 3dsx file with the same name as the folder (or alternatively boot.3dsx) will be detected as an application bundle folder, and it will be presented as a single icon that can directly launch the application.

2022年6月6日 · Go with cias whenever possible, they are actually installed and appear on the home menu (except for some specific cases) so you can launch them directly. 3dsx need to be launched from hemebrew menu which means you have to launch that first then scroll to the 3dsx you want and then launch it.

3DS homebrew is built and distributed as executables with the .3dsx extension. Note that you may encounter files with the .cia extension - these are not homebrew executables that can be loaded using hbmenu. To install hbmenu, simply copy boot.3dsx to the root of your SD card.

2025年3月15日 · You need to follow 3ds.hacks.guide in order to install boot9strap and Luma3DS and then once finished you can install Checkpoint as a .cia file to your home menu on your 3ds. (Or run it using the rosalina-based homebrew launcher)
