2006年11月21日 · The 3S-FE WAS NEVER AVAILABLE IN THE UK. 3S-FE and 3S-GE mean: 3 is 3rd generation, S is the S series engine, F is economic head, G is performance head, E is electronic fuel injection. So 3S-GE = 3rd gen of S series engine with performance head and electronic fuel injection.

2005年6月10日 · Note: 3S engines came in two versions NA(GE) and Turbocharged(GTE). Regardless of what induction the engine is the same generation heads both share the same designs internally except for the cam profiles ie. valves, lifter, springs, retainers....so a 1G 3S-GE head is the same as a 1G 3S-GTE head with the only difference being cam profiles.

2019年5月26日 · Those motor pics at the beginning there are parts from multiple engines. There's a TVIS plate (1st gen 3s-ge or 2nd gen 3s-gte), at least one 2nd gen 3s-ge intake manifold. The cams are rusty, one heat was set on its face. The valve cover on the one head and a few brackets hint these are at least mostly MR2 parts.

2005年1月25日 · You can mount a 3S-GE/GTE in a gen 3 with the stock mounts, but the engine will lean to one side. The reason why a 3S-GE/GTE mounts right into a gen 2 is because they were available with a 3S-FE. But only if your car orginally had a 3S-FE, it does not apply to a 2VZ-FE. 3S-FE/GE/GTE all use a 3rd gen S block.
