I think anyone with curly hair knows that you have to use more heat to get the curls out than, say, someone with relatively straight hair. That means more than one pass of that flat iron or going slower. Both will damage hair more than a quick pass with a less hot iron (or blow-dryer).

A mullet is the natural result of something like a big chop. It isn't that the hair at the top is shorter or at least that much shorter.

But I've seen the curls & they're beautiful. I think I'll buy them eventually. I'm kinda a sucker (or snob) for brand names, but I have heard from people who have bought a different curlformer alternatives on ebay for much cheaper - and they've reported identical results.
