2024年9月1日 · Just as the sentiment takes hold and 3rd gen owners decide to trade up, they pull the ol' switcheroo and update the 3rd gen ECU tune to be completely amazing. Used 3rd gen sales then increase dramatically, and Toyota rakes in sales hand-over-fist on sales of both generations. Just a fun theory, maybe a pinch of wishful thinking.
Anyone had the 3rd brake light TSB preemptively done?

2024年3月15日 · So the new TSB doesn't exclude any models but looking at the parts list it looks like the new damper and pad are what already comes on the TRD off-road. Can anyone confirm this? It seems like the solution to most 3rd gen recalls and TSBs has been to throw off-road parts at it. Guess we got the good stuff from the start!

2019年12月14日 · Well, I guess you know more than the Toyota Master Tech who agreed with the fact its coming through the 3rd brake light. And, no, I dont go out and open the door on a vehicle Im not driving just to make sure all is ok. Thats just silly. I keep my vehicles in showroom condition, should not be a need to 'check in' to make sure all is ok.
