Using the 4-H Pledge to Create SMART Goals SMART Goals are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. Using these principles to set goals helps increase the likelihood that the goals will be achieved successfully. The chart below describes each principle and outlines questions to ask to ensure your goal is SMART.

4-H provides kids with community, mentors, and learning opportunities to develop the skills they need to create positive change in their lives and communities.

Since 4‑H began more than 100 years ago, it has become the nation’s largest youth development organization. The 4‑H idea is simple: help young people and their families gain the skills needed to be proactive forces in their communities and develop ideas for a more innovative economy.

2024年3月6日 · From youth-led summits sharing best practices about inclusion of LGBTQ+ youth to trainings providing guidance for 4‑H professionals and volunteers, 4‑H is creating safe and inclusive environments where all youth have the opportunity to develop skills in partnership with caring adults and feel a sense of belonging.

With the support of adult mentors, youth select from a wide variety of hands-on project ideas to complete. 4‑H programs are available for youth and teens ages 8-18. 4‑H Cloverbud programs are available for youth ages 5-7.

CLOVER by 4-H creates opportunity for all youth with curriculum from over 100 Universities, interactive hands-on learning activities, and the supportive 4-H community – available anytime, anywhere – helping young people discover their passions and build the life skills to thrive.
