2012年1月18日 · This resulted in the then new neon engine, the 420a you speak of, to be used in a mitsubishi product, while the venerable 4g63 was used in a chrysler product. What I am getting at is that the 420a is a decent motor in a 2300lb(neon) car but when saddled with nearly 500lbs(eclipse) more, it feels a bit more sluggish.

2019年10月16日 · But with a 420A I wouldn't expect more than a 4hp gain, if that. This is because, aside from having half as many cylinders, the cylinder head is a most restrictive factor. You could potentially gain more if the engine is properly tuned, but tuning a 420A with a cast iron manifold and tuning a 420A with an exhaust header doesn't look very different.

2009年4月19日 · On the 420a Can't you use the stock 4g63 Turbo Mani? The reason I ask is for my knowledge, and the OP's. My friend brad owns a 1998 420a eclipse and after driving my 96 4g he wants boost. I was gonna hand him my turbo mani once I get the 6bolt in my car. It has an allready ported 2g stock mani which will be fine for me for now.

2002年8月21日 · 420a is a Mitsubishi Name The 420a is only the front-exhaust 2.0l in the DSM cars. Granted, the short block is common with the 2.0l Chrysler versions - but Chrysler doesn't use the 420a name.
