Class 43 (HST) is the TOPS classification used for the power cars of British Rail's InterCity 125 High Speed Train. The power cars were built by British Rail Engineering Limited between 1975 and 1982, and have been in service in the UK since 1976. Preserved at the National Railway Museum. Part of the National Collection.

2023年1月3日 · The power car was damaged in the Carmont accident in August 2020, with the operator deciding not to return to the Class 43 to service. 43030 is the third HST power car to have been used for component recovery by Scotrail, following 43018 and 43185, but it has become the first to have been scrapped.
