2023年6月8日 · Subsonic .45-70 loads suppress quite well, lots of fun! Supersonic loads certainly suppress, but the sonic crack of a blunt, relatively slow .458" bullet is substantial. I can tolerate a few rounds of my 405 gr. 2,015 FPS loads, but it's really not comfortable for my naked ears.

2019年12月14日 · I recently tried a Holosun 403R on my Marlin 45-70 with XS rail. I shot about 400 rounds with 100 being HSM Bear loads. The Holosun 403R took it like a champ and never missed a beat. I have it on my AR pistol now. I am normally an Aimpoint snob but Holosun did good with the 403R.
