2017年7月25日 · BMW 1 SERIES DTC 4933. We have a 2008 BMW 1 series 118d with fault code 4933 - air to EGR mass flow, plausibility permenant. normally comes on at slower speeds, no performance issuse with engine when fault appears.

2024年5月16日 · Scanned the code and the code came back as 4933 - EGR Air Flow Plausibility. I've been looking around various forums and websites to find an answer to the 4933 issue but it appears to be a phantom problem which might not be directly related to the EGR with various members throwing huge sums of money to fix it.

2022年10月27日 · Went to take the car out to test drive and car was sputtering and got an engine light, iDrive message and car went into limp home mode, able to get up to 45 mph. Codes 4933 and 3FF1. There was also heavy rumble/vibration from the engine on shutdown. I figured I had killed the MAP sensor so replaced it. That's not fixed it.

2022年10月27日 · The 4933 code is a egr to maf plausibility code which basically means the dme isn’t seeing the expected air when egr operates. Check for any air leaks,with oil around boost hose that suggests it’s leaking so needs properly inspecting.
