Is it possible to produce 4K@120 CRT display? : r/hardware - Reddit
But there's no reason you couldn't drive a CRT with a DisplayPort cable and have a nice modern high-bandwidth DAC built into the CRT monitor itself. Or if you insisted on an analog input to the monitor, then you could use coaxial cables with BNC connectors as in studio monitors, because they have far more bandwidth than required for a 4K/120 ...

Would you use a modern crt over other displays? | AVS Forum
2023年10月8日 · I'm not familiar with the limitations of pitch and bandwidth of crts, but the highest resolution monitor was sony f520 which had a pitch of 0.22mm which would mean you could just almost resolve 4k at a 34 inch size which was a crt size they had, so maybe not right at 4k but slightly under would still be really good especially considering it's a ...

Retrotink 4k - replace CRT? : r/crtgaming - Reddit
My everyday television is a 40" 2010 LCD because it does 1080p and I paid over $700 for it in 2010. Buying a 4k + OLED to "simulate" a free CRT, it's so ridiculous. I do have a $150 MSI gaming monitor with BFI, several motion clarity options and does 144 Hz over HDMI and 165 Hz over DisplayPort. Good enough for modern gaming or emulation.

Which CRT monitor sold had the highest resolution?
2015年10月3日 · Maybe I had always had cheap TVs and CRT monitors, but my recollection was that the electron beam would hit several phosphors at a time because the beam couldn't be focused accurately to hit just one phosphor, and the higher the resolution of the monitor (which meant a tighter electron beam for a given screen size), the more finely spaced the phosphors so that the electron beam would always ...
