2018年1月14日 · I haven't had a jeep with the 5.2L V8 (318), but I had a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.2L V8 and it was a great engine, plenty of power to do anything you want, the 5.9L V8 (360) is a great engine as well but only found in the 1998 JGC Limited 5.9.

Agreed - I had a 96 ZJ/5.2 and it was a great engine - responsive, powerful and reasonable mileage for a V8 (you should get better mileage in the lighter TJ). The 5.2 is probably one of the best engine swaps for the TJ so we'll all be watching your progress! :thumbsup:
