Jan 14, 2018 · I haven't had a jeep with the 5.2L V8 (318), but I had a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.2L V8 and it was a great engine, plenty of power to do anything you want, the 5.9L V8 (360) is a great engine as well but only found in the 1998 JGC Limited 5.9.
