55 minute ATL layover - Rick Steves Travel Forum
2009年5月26日 · The best deal right now is a flight with a 55 minute layover in ATL. Both legs of the journey will be on Delta and we will be checking one piece of baggage (essentials in carry-on; non-essentials in checked bag). Do you think there will be enough time to make the connection? If we end up missing it, what are the protocols? Thanks so much!
55min layover in Amsterdam - Rick Steves Travel Forum
2009年12月5日 · While the transatlantic flight being on time carries some risk, the Amsterdam airport does not. It is very efficiently laid out and a 55 minute connection is a piece of cake as long as you don't dilly dally. (I made a 65 minute connection, Northwest out of Boston to KLM to Zurich -- with my 2 year old son and 5-month pregnant wife.)

2019年9月3日 · One, airlines add some fluff time to their routes in that flights typically can land as scheduled even with a 30 min delay. You may actually land with more than 55 minutes to spare. If not, make your way to your connection at JFK and if …
Chicago O'Hare Layover Time - Rick Steves Travel Forum
2023年9月4日 · Hi Eveyone, I'm looking at a MSP-ORD-LHR flight on American to save a few thousand as compared to a MSP-LHR direct flight. Going out and coming back there is a 1hr 45 min and 1 hr 35 min layover respectively in O'Hare. Is this even remotely enough time to make the connection/get through custom...
Minimum layover time in Amsterdam - Rick Steves Travel Forum
2021年11月14日 · 55 posts I remember the long line for passport control, pre-covid (2018) entering the EU at AMS, thinking there’s no way I’m making connection to my final destination. Back then, and as noted by others transiting through Schiphol (in and outbound), airport staff would regularly come through and ask for anyone with tight connection times to ...
Min connection time in Rome (FCO) airport - Rick Steves
2024年6月18日 · I flew this United flight just last month - Chicago #970 @ 3:45 pm to arrive FCO @ 7:55 am. I was booked through United as one ticket with my ITA flight departing FCO @ 9:30 am (15 more minutes to connect than you will have). Our flight out of Chicago was late and I worried about my checked luggage making it to my final destination.
JFK airport connection question - only 1 hour to transfer - heading …
2023年8月15日 · My first thought is that I would definitely take a one hour in JFK over 55 minutes in AMS. I’ve gone through AMS is as few as 20 minutes and as many as two hours. That said, if you can get to the continent of Europe and you miss a flight, it’s easier/shorter to find a way to your final location than it is to find the next trans Atlantic flight.
Zurich connection 50 minutes - Rick Steves Travel Forum
2023年12月6日 · Anyway, normally connections within the Schengen area are pretty quick as the gates are in the same section of the airport (within a 10-15 min walk), so you should be able to make it. Normally they also show the transfer gates on the in-flight screens before landing, so you know exactly where you need to go.
