At 5-6-7-8 Dancenter, our goal is to provide the correct technique and a fun, safe, challenging, and memorable dance experience. We aim to instill discipline, grace, self-control, self-confidence, and respect for all. Our music is carefully selected to be morally sound, ensuring enjoyment for participants of all ages.

5-6-7-8 Dancenter originally began circa 1972 and was then called Dancenter. It has been housed in many locations around Jefferson City and has had various owners during it’s 52 plus years. In 2011 it came up for sale and Sherry Bailey, who had been teaching at Dancenter since 2002, decided to purchase it with her friend Pauline Kuntz.
