2017年12月16日 · Today I picked up a Mossberg 590A1 Tactical (#50779) with an 18.5” parkerized heavy barrel and bead sight. I was actually looking for the non-A1 version of this SG which does not have a heavy barrel (#50778) but this one was too good to pass up and includes 4-shell Speedfeed stock set. Now the bad – it was an Officer’s cruiser gun.

2021年2月12日 · The military version, 590A1 is a heavier gun, thicker barrel and all steel trigger pack. They are a beast. Much like original 870 all steel guns moonpie alluded to. While the 500s, and even Mavericks, will last most owners forever and serve them well they are not what is issued or used by the military.

2021年2月12日 · the 590A1 is better than the 500 but still not what I like in a pump shotgun. My pump shotgun is an old police magnum 870. I like the safety to be where it is on my M1 & M3 (trigger guard).

2021年12月31日 · I love my 590a1. It's a heavy bastard and with my back and shoulder its frankly painful to mount. Left weak side AC joint issues. The closer to the body the more weight I can lift with that left shoulder. ARs are easier cause it close to the body. The 590 20 inch heavy barrel is further out there.
