2025年1月8日 · After running the numbers, the 6 ARC shooting a 108 ELD should expand out to 680y (2525fps MV, 1600fps threshold) while the 6.5 CM shooting a 140 ELD should expand out to 710y (2450fps MV, 1600fps threshold) which is pretty much a wash.

2023年11月12日 · V-match ammo (22 ARC and 6 ARC anyway) will be mostly loaded with a slightly different family of powders that have been significantly cleaner yet, and have superb temp stability. Velocity will be ~20-25fps per inch of barrel regardless of gas gun or bolt gun.

2020年10月7日 · In my experience the dispersion factor isn't greatly different between the large and small frame systems. That's the primary limiting factor IMO. The 6 ARC with comparable barrel length and 105-110gr bullets can achieve trajectory that's pretty much equivalent to 6.5 Creedmoor 140gr. 6mm Creed will buy you some better trajectory.

2023年9月6日 · Running essentially a large for frame caliber like the 6 arc or 6.5G is going to stress it that much more. Its just the nature of physics. You are running alot more heat and gas vollume through the same gas port, block, tube and carrier key than a 5.56 full pressure round.

2017年3月3日 · Also, when looking at ARC data, remember that there are two load levels. AR tops out (IIRC) at 55ksi and bolt gun is 62 or 65ksi. Leverevolution works well in the ARC with >100gr projectiles. I just looked at the data on the Hodgden site for 58gr and 70gr projectiles. It appears you run out of case capacity before hitting max pressure.
