I think someone is confused. A "pg 11" refers to an entry in the Marine Service Record Book (on page 11). 6105 refers to the paragraph of the the Marine Corps Separations Manual that deals with formal counseling. They are commonly interchanged terms...but you can only get one formal counseling for each event

The 6105 states the deficiency, recommended actions to reduce/correct deficiency, resources to assist with that, what will happen if the deficiency isn't reduced/corrected (in this case specifically separation) and that you can make a rebuttal within 5 working days. Signing a 6105 is not compliance, just that you understand. You must sign.

I signed a 6105 but I feel wrong for doing so. I did opt for a written statement, what would be my best course of action? Yes, the 6105 will stay on your pg 11 of your ompf. But I would not worry much...a single pg 11 counseling is NOT going to end your career. Just make sure to not continue to commit misconduct...if you do, that prior pg 11 can be used to separate you. Please let me know if you have more questions. I am happy to help if I can.

A Pg 11 (6105) will not harm his career...not a single 6105. Its not a great thing...but its also not, in and of itself, grounds to end a career. A 6105 is a formal counseling statement. Its used to document the counseling.
