In this job, you’ll perform medical duties for battlefield diseases and injuries in need of immediate treatment. You’ll be the most forward physician and perform life-saving treatments, so Soldiers may progress to the next stage of care.

Examines, diagnoses, and treats or prescribes courses of treatment for the initial phase (Level I and II) of battlefield disease and injury. Provides resuscitative and definitive care for injured and wounded Soldiers within the capabilities of the unit's organic or attached medical element.

Supervises and performs maintenance on construction equipment.

2021年12月30日 · Sorry to break it to you friend, but you do not actually want to be a 62B. Doing that means being a physician with no residency training, or serving as such despite having completed a residency. Reality is that most of them are functioning as primary care docs at the battalion level, or administrative docs at the brigade level.

2013年10月28日 · You receive an MOS qualification based on your specialty and or additional training. 62B is a catch-all term for Battalion surgeons, but I believe that any Army trained physician even if you are flight qualified ie. 61N gets classified as a 62B.
