2010年12月23日 · Cranks are not the same, the 634 has a "pork-chop" or "T" crank webbing and the red baron is full circle. A true red baron crank is solid steel but there are others that claim they came stock with epoxy and metal bands around a 634 crank to make it a full circle.

2007年5月23日 · It is a firebird ss with a hirth 650. non original seat. was this sled only made in '72? would this sled have an engine cover louver like all the other chaparrals I have ever seen? This sled is open around the carb area.

2014年1月28日 · These 650 fanners were rated anywhere between 55-60 h.p. from Hirth depending on what exhaust and carburation was used. The factory official peak h.p. rpm was 6750. Sno Jet rated their model 281 in the Sabre 50 h.p. at 6750 rpm. the one I had made its peak power more in the 7000 range.

Hirth 650cc NOS engine call for more information. This has been kept in a climate controlled environment since the 70"s when it was made. I added custom expansion chambers and twin Mikuni carburetors. I also have the gear reduction drive unit for use on an airplane or airboat.
