The highly popular Bottlehead S.E.X. amp used the 6DN7 and the 6EM7 was an option. Sweep tubes well implemented are no joke.

2015年9月3日 · I finished my 6EM7 amp yesterday and am impressed with the sound. The 2 watts are more than enough for my 103 db horns and even sound real good with a pair of 87 db test speakers. A very large soundstage with pinpoint centering of the vocals. Decent bass with a very smooth midrange and treble.

2025年1月7日 · The 6EM7/6EA7 will work fine at 300~325V too. The recommended 350V was for driving a 300B with max signal output. Use a 10 or 20uF cap and dropping resistor from the OPT B+ to feed the 6EM7.
