6l6gc's pin configuration - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2009年2月5日 · Pin 1 and 6 aren't connected to anything on a glass 6L6 (pin 1 is connected to the metal envelope on a metal 6L6). So these are often used as tie points. So if you look at the bit of the twin layout below, you see there is a 1.5K resistor between pins 1 and 5 (5 is the grid), and the output from the previous stage attaches to pin 1.
Pin 1 and 8 - 6L6/6CA7/EL34 Cathode Bias - The Amp Garage
2021年3月25日 · Just trying to confirm pin 1 and 8 in my build. I'd like to be able to swap in 6L6/6CA7/EL34. The amp is cathode biased. Do I connect pin 1 and 8 at the base or do I run pin 1 direct to its own ground. With the former configuration, the suppressor grid will be at the same voltage of the cathode, and with the latter, it will be at ground, correct?

Fender 6L6 pin 1 - The Amp Garage
2012年12月18日 · In all glass versions of the 6L6, pin 1 has no connection to any internal element, so it is safe to use as an anchor point on the valve socket. 6L6 @ The Valve Museum - r-type.org
The 6V6 receiver type of beam tetrode with which it shares pin connections is a derivative. This valve was mainly used for audio amplifiers. The 807 was based on the RCA type 6L6 beam tetrode, which had a long, fairly thin, anode and a carefully-aligned grid structure. The 6L6 employed rapidly-accelerated electrons and short electron paths.
