2022年6月21日 · Are you saying you want to build a 2 stage amplifier, 6SN7 into 6V6 outputs? That's perfectly feasible. I just posted my circuit for 6SN7 into 2a3 in another thread and I've added it here. I can use 6SN7 or two single triodes like 6J5 variants. I used to like the 7193 but I'm getting better sound with the CV6 aka CV1135, VR-135.

2011年9月24日 · I would recommend you explore changing the 6SN7 to a 6SL7 if you want more gain before the 6V6 output stage. This is by far the easiest way to do that "experiment". see your own referenced website here for the schematics using the 6SL7

2023年12月17日 · So I decided to use a 6SN7. With it’s low µ and very low noise it fits the needs for this driver very well. The 6V6 family (6V6, 7408, 6AQ5, 6005, etc.) can be a little cool in the UL mode and I wanted to preserve some warmth as this amp will be used mostly for soft jazz and light classical music.

3 天之前 · Here's what I'm thinking...get a 10 watt OPT that's meant for 6V6s and run two 6SN7s per channel in a push-pull parallel set up. That would give roughly the right impedance for the plates, plus the tubes could shove more power. I'd have a 6CG7 to amplify the signal right from the input jack and feed the volume control.

5 天之前 · This is a fairly straight forward 6V6 SE UL design with a 6SN7 driver stage (unbypassed cathode). Peak undistorted power is 3.2W RMS into 8Ω. Input sensitivity is 1.56v peak (1.1v rms) for full power. The amp is absolutely dead quiet. Here's how it looks. This amp was built as an experiment.
