2016年2月16日 · 6D is definitely the most comfortable helmet I have ever owned. In fact, I literally have a new spare and visors because I like them so much. I had the same problem when wearing 100% goggles as well pushing down on my nose, and I need all of the help breathing as I can get so I had to switch.

2016年2月7日 · If i wanted a regular high end helmet, I would just get another Shoei because the VFX-W to me is the best fitting/looking helmet on the market. But I want a helmet with the new low impact/concussion prevention tech, so that leaves only the Bell, 6D and Leatt.

2015年2月8日 · I recently had a crash in my less then stellar 6D helmet. Resulting in 2 breaks in the shell. I'm not dead. I did get a nasty concussion. After doing so. I talked to 6D about my helmet. Since it wasn't even 6 months old. And I realize it isn't there fault that I crashed.

2013年3月11日 · My last Bell helmet was the Moto 8, which seemed like a lower quality helmet. I don't think I would buy another Bell. I looked at the 6D when they were first released, and was considering it due to the new technology in concussion protection. The 6D looked and felt like a middle of the line helmet with a top-shelf price.

2008年4月1日 · I'm in the market for a new helmet and I like the technology in the Fly Formula Carbon with the Reon and Cone Head EPS. But I also like the 6d ATR-2 and the ODS technology in it. I saw Zach Bell's crash in his 6d but I also saw Weston Peick's crash in the Fly and even though his face was destroyed, his brain wasn't. Just asking.

2011年11月16日 · For the price, I wouldn't buy a 6D. That's a $300 helmet in my opinion. I compared the 6D, Shoei and Arai and the quality of the 6D is obviously Chinese when you have all three on the same table. I had a Moto 8 back when they came out in 2009. That thing was low quality garbage in my opinion. Next I picked up a Fox V3 in 2010.

2018年6月25日 · If a Shoei fits your head better then a 6D then it might be a better helmet for you. And the other way too. I think the 6d might help prevent concussions better then the Shoei. And the Shoei shell is most likely harder to penetrate then the 6d. The ECE standard allows for a softer shell then the SNELL . Both will have advantages and disadvantages.

2016年8月3日 · The entire point of Bell MIPS or 6D anti rotation technoogy is to stop the helmet from translating rotational crash forces to your skull, becauese they are seriously bad. If the visor doesnt have easily breakable shear off pins, the visor becomes a huge paddle to SPIN your helmet and skull.. the exact opposite of what we want in a crash.
