2022年1月11日 · Hello, Looking for a good 6SN7/ 6CG7 Preamp Schematic. 1 tube 2x triodes per channel. Gain of 12AU7 (20) is good for my need (that's SRPP preamp I have now) . I have both of these tube types and plan on using octal to mini 9 adapter when using the 6CG7's. Thank you

2020年3月1日 · Keep in mind really-really good 6SN7 tubes are becoming harder to find, just went through this past few years trying several new, multiple NOS collections, adding a few more NOS. Then, bought some boutique 6SN7s no longer made. If you do go with a 6SN7 based preamp, and must buy new tubes, try the Sophia Electric Blue - not cheap but nice.

Over the last few decades he has built some incredible sounding line stages using tubes in combination like the 12AU7,5751,12AX7 and other 9 pin tubes.

2010年10月4日 · No help on the phono stage. I built a few pre's with 6SN7/7N7/7AF7 around shunt-reg'd power supplies. B+ of ~400, CCS-fed stack of two 0D3 to deliver 300V and CCS-loaded the 6SN7 with a cascode, MOSFET circuit. Took output from the lower source for ~200R output impedance. Ran 3 red LED's to bias and idled at 6-8 mA.

I had got good collection of Nos 6sn7 tubes. I received Tungsol Black grass round plate ans Raytheon Vt231 tubes today.
