2019年4月26日 · I have an SBR'd Mini Draco with a 7.5" barrel and yes there is a significant velocity loss over a 16" barrel but you have to ask yourself what you intend to do with your SBR. No a 7.5" or even a 10" barreled 7.62x39 would not be adequate for large game hunting but it will certainly do the trick on two legged animals.

I know the Surefire isn't the quietest can on the market, however, I like them alot. I have a 5.56RC and I like it quite a bit. In fact I will be buying a 5.56 mini for my sbr.

2018年5月25日 · 7.62x39 is the cheapest, most bang-for-your-buck caliber out there. You dont need to be rich or handload to shoot ak's or put 100$ 7.62x39 barrels in uppers and buy bricks of 1000 rounds for 200 bucks.

2015年6月19日 · A good general rule is to avoid 7.5" barrels in anything that runs high pressure or has significant heating issues, if you want the barrel to last a while. 7.5" barrels shoot out fairy quickly in bottle-necked rifle cartridge chamberings. 300BLK subsonic would be an exception to that, or anything run subsonic for that matter.

2017年2月8日 · Depends what the goal of the rifle is. For an all-purpose rifle, 12.5" seems to be the sweet spot for 7.62x39. It loses little velocity (certainly not enough to bring it below the velocity threshold of modern defensive ammo) and as such can do everything the 16" carbines can, but have better balance and handling.

2015年12月6日 · do it you wont regret it if you build it or buy it made for 7.62x39. new c products mags make it a no mod needed gun I have 2 a 16 inch and a 10.5 and love them both but if I were you go short it only loses about 150-200 fps with a barrel that is 6 inches shorter. so cheap to shoot legal hunting caliber ammo is everywhere and they have expensive ammo for hunting. im suppressing my shorty here ...
